1983
Micros of Central Florida was founded by Tim Anderson in Orlando, FL as the exclusive Micros dealer for the Central Florida Hospitality Market.
1983 to 1993
Deployed Micros 4700 Systems to hotels & resorts.
1993
Launched a second office in Tampa, FL for additional sales, installation & local support services.
1993 to 1996
Started deploying the Micros 2700 System to restaurants, hotels & resorts. We deployed over 200 hotels locally and hundreds of restaurants like TGIF, Perkins & Planet Hollywood.
1996
Micros released a revolutionary digital POS system called the RES 3700.
1996-2015
Micros of Central Florida became one of the top 5 highest volume Micros resellers in the industry with consistent quota buster & presidents awards over the years.
2011
Tim’s son Matt Anderson joins the family business.
2020 (March)
We develop Cloudpoint Connect, a network management solution to consolidate to help restaurants lower costs during a global pandemic. We also helped deploy online ordering, contactless payment & kiosk solutions to hundreds of clients.
2020 (December)
Our work with Toast ends due to a change in business model with a total of over 1,200 clients booked in a few short years.
2021
Cloudpoint launches a robust, all-in-one cloud-based POS solution, new services as well as a new partnership with SpotOn.

Oracle Hospitality develops point-of-sale software and enterprise information system software for the hospitality and food & beverage industries. Cloudpoint Hospitality was an exclusive partner for MICROS Systems since 1983 & now an “Oracle Gold Partner” since the acquisition in 2014.
Toast is an android point of sale and restaurant management system that Cloudpoint represented in Florida from 2016 to April 2021. We continue to work with our 1,200+ clients in a variety of capacities.
